Table Act Australia Pty Ltd was created in 1995 by Carline Bouilhet-Christofle as the exclusive importer and distributor of French luxury tableware. A sixth generation family member of the Christofle silver dynasty, Carline dreamed of representing only the finest existing luxury products in tableware. Table Act Australia proudly represents Christofle, of course, the world's best renowned silversmith, Cristalleries de Saint Louis, the world's most prestigious crystal and Bernardaud, one of the most famous porcelain manufacturers out of Limoges, France.

With a background in art and history, Carline wanted the capability of creating visual statements for her clients' tables, showing them off like master still-life paintings, in other words setting the proper stage for fabulous entertaining. In 1996, she opened then the first Christofle boutique in the South Pacific, located in Sydney eastern suburbs. In 1998, Rohan McJannet, a Sydney entrepreneur with an extensive background in finance, joined the company as co-director and co-owner.

Together they have strived to expand the Australian market through a careful and selective distribution. Table Act Australia is also responsible for the New Zealand and New Caledonian market as well as that of other islands of the South Pacific. For the past decade, Table Act Australia has proven successful in supplying the needs of Australia's elite as well as many fine restaurants and leading hotels.
